This book adopts a student centred approach to develop the communication skills needed by students for their roles in life. By gathering information, interpreting it, discussing it with others, and by presenting it in a variety of forms, students using this book will have opportunities to grow in confidence and self esteem. The essential feature of this book is its community based learning approach. Students are encouraged to learn communication skills for life roles within the community by communication with the community.
