Gateway is intended to prepare students for college-level reading and writing. Many of the reading selections have come from textbooks used in the “Core Curriculum” of Brooklyn College. The selections have been grouped into themes that have proven to be of great concern to students. The skills sections and exercise4s are appropriate for all students interested in developing their reading and writing skills.
