The Gramedia Graded Reading Series is an unpretentious bilingual reading series useful for Indonesian students wishing to improve their English vocabulary, as well as English students looking to improve their knowledge of the Indonesian culture and language..
The series is divided into different reading stages and each stage comes with different titles, both Fiction (F) and Non-Fiction (NF). Each stage has a set number of new vocabulary words and at the end of each book readers are provided with an extended glossary of new words, each of which also includes the English to Indonesian translation of the days of the week and the months of the year. Readers will find that the passages on every page include a few italicized words, with their Indonesian translation provided at the bottom of the page for quick and easy reference.
