Hit and Run considers the mathematics involved in a number of sport related activities. By working through the various tasks and activities covered in the book the student will experience the use of mathematics in “real life” situations.
The book can be used in a number of ways. For some courses teachers may choose to simply work through the book as it is. Others may choose to use the book as a source of material they dip into and use as appropriate.
