Play the Game is a comprehensive collection of strategy games designed to foster students` problem solving ability.
Game boards and instructions are included – only counters and pencils are needed to Play the Game.
Games range from the very simplest strategy games to those that will even challenge adults.
Play the game has many applications:
-a whole school program, using each book for a full year`s work
-specific skill development, through the selection of a strand of games from all three books
-a resource for: end of session fill-ins; reward activities; game of the week; wet day lifesavers; activity corner; parent-student activity sessions
-in multi-age and cross-grade classrooms
-especially useful for migrant and remedial situations, as no reading skills are required.
