Practise Your Skills is a series of English extension texts designed for secondary students which provide practice in the many language skills needed to communicate effectively. In each chapter, a skill is identified, explained and reinforced with numerous exercises. Supplementary exercises are provided in the “on your own” section of each chapter.
Throughout Practise your skills the emphasis is on practice - traditional grammar exercises are provided as well as opportunities for class discussion and creative writing stimulated by photographs, illustrations, nespaper articles and extracts from literature.
