This is the first Romansch language guide ever published for English speakers. Romansch, which goes back as far as the year B.C., is spoken by nearly 70,000 people in Switzerland. It is mainly spoken in the Canton of Grisons in the southeastern part of the country. The Grisons are the only Swiss country with three languages (German, Romansch, and Italian).
