This dictionary is unique in that it lists the same root word in alphabetical order according to the prefix. The prefix system of the Indonesian language precludes usage of dictionary in the usual way. For instance, the word Belajar which means ‘to study’, will not be listed in an Indonesian dictionary under the letter’b’. It can only be located under the letter ‘a’ for ajar which is the root word.
