An excellent resource for practising subtraction.
Ideal as a starter activity. More fun than flashcards! Simply throw or pass the inflatable ball around the class & ask the student to respond with the correct word which is under their left thumb.Make it harder by subtracting 1 from the calculation. Make it very hard by using both hands and adding the two numbers (hopefully the teacher knows the answer). So simple yet so versatile. Can be used time & time again.
