At the end of World War II Japanese army officers had to surrender their ceremonial swords to the Allies. Yoshihide Masayama's sword had been in his family for over two hundred years. When he gave up his sword to the Australian Army in the South Pacific he thought he would never see the sword again. This reader tells how the sword was returned to Yoshihide Masayama. It is a true story of reconciliation.
